It's been a while since I last blogged and so much has been happening!!...
Heres a recap: Last week I had my district orientation and then went to the school meet my principal and fellow teachers. I also spent the day setting up my first grade classroom. Everything was a little overwhelming but I had a great time. The next morning my principal informed me that I was just reassigned to another school and possibly a different grade!! I was completely shocked and a little nervous about the change of plans.
Yesterday I packed up my room and headed to my new school where I will be teaching kindergarten! I am really excited to meet my twenty-one cutie pies in less than two weeks! I spent the whole day setting up my new {huge} room!
Wow this is long! Thanks for hanging in there!! Here's some pics...

This is exactly what happened my first year! I was hired in June as a grad coach, went to work on my classroom in July and was told I'd been moved to 9th grade Algebra, then back to grad coach + one section of Algebra, then finally to the middle school to teach 7th and 8th grade math. I wound up setting up three classrooms that year! To combat frustration, I just kept telling myself that I was proving to my new system how flexible I could be, but you seem to be still in high spirits! Good luck with your first year!
Jackie-thanks! Yes, I am so happy to have a job! So far I am loving first grade! :) (I will post new class pics soon)
Meredith-Thanks! That is a ton of moving! I am glad you can relate & good thing we are flexible; especially as teachers!
WOW! What a way to start the year!
