Pinterest Love

While pinning 1,000 items on Pinterest..I came across this!!  I knew that I would have to make it for my desk or wall ASAP! I headed over to Target and Michaels and finished it in no time!

You need:

32 crayons (Two 24 count boxes for 80 cents at Target)

Wood frame (mine was $1.00 from Michaels)

Sharp knife & cutting board

Hot glue gun

Ta-da!!

Oh Happy Day!

This quote is so true! Yesterday my principal called to inform me that I would be teaching FIRST GRADE! I nearly screamed in his ear with excitement!! I had been hoping, wishing, praying and crossing my fingers & toes for this lovely grade level.  Next week I have orientation and hopefully I will get into my future garden themed classroom to start decorating and organizing!!

Is it time for school yet?

I have been waiting patiently to find out what grade I will be teaching...but no news yet!  Sooo in my spare time I have been doing the following:
-Almost daily trips to Target
-Buying items for my classroom
-Being crafty
-Cruising in my new car!
-Checking out amazing teacher blogs
-Catching up on celeb gossip
-Getting organized & planning
-Packing & moving out of my apartment-such a pain
 -Pinning-my latest obsession (Pinterest) follow me :)


I cannot wait for school to start!!..can we please fast forward to August 15th????

Lately I have become obsessed with teacher blogs and decided to create one of my own! Last month I signed a contract for the fall and I am so excited to get started in a month!!  I will use this blog to share ideas, funny stories and the craziness that will become my first year of teaching. :-)
